表達 同意，可透過 agree [əˋgri]，比如表達 就某事 (Y) 而言，同意某人 (X) 的意見，可用 agree with X on/about Y 或 agree with X that S + V ....，其中後者是透過 that 引導的名詞子句來表達 某事，又如表達 同意某事 (Y)，可用 agree to Y，而表達 贊同某事 (Y)，則可用 agree with Y，另表達 同意做某事 (Y)，可用 agree to do Y，如 agree to disagree [͵dɪsəˋgri] 或agree to differ [ˋdɪfɚ] ( 同意彼此意見不同，不再爭論 )，還有，表達 在某種程度上，同意某人 (X) 的意見，可用 agree with X up to a point，表達 再同意不過了、無法贊同更多，可用 couldn’t agree more，另外，表達 同意，也可透過 agree 的名詞 agreement [əˋgrimənt]，比如表達 就某事 (Y) 而言，同意某人 (X) 的意見，可用 be in agreement with X on/about Y；另外，表達 和某人 (X) 在某事 (Y) 上的意見一致，也可用 share the same opinion on/about Y as/with X、share the same mind on/about Y as/with X、be of the same opinion on/about Y as/with X、be of the same mind on/about Y as/with X、share X’s view that S + V .... 等，其中最後者是透過 that 引導的名詞子句來表達 某個意見，而表達 同意某個意見 (Y)，也可用 subscribe to Y (正式)；另表達 同意某人事物 (X/Y)，還可用 go with X/Y (美式)、go along with X/Y、concur with X/Y (正式) 等，而表達 同意某事 (Y)，則還可用 consent to Y (正式)、assent to Y (正式)、accede to Y (正式)、fall in with Y (英式) 等： He agrees with her that animal cruelty should be a felony rather than a misdemeanor. (他同意她的意見，虐待動物應該要是重罪，而非輕罪。) Do you subscribe to the view that weapons of mass destruction pose an imminent threat to human survival? (你同意這樣的觀點嗎 — 大規模毀滅性武器對人類的生存構成了緊迫的威脅？)
